Prolec have carried out full electrical installations for Lindt & Sprungli ( The worlds favourite chocolate ) for approximately 14 years. 

We are the sole electrical contractor for all of their UK fit outsand work on design as well as installation for the projects.

As well as the initial fit outs we have carried out upgrades and maintenance on a regular basis and installation works in Lindts offices in Feltham, Middlesex.

Current Project

Wilsons of Epsom new showrooms.
Work is underway on the full refurbishment of 4 new showrooms for Wilsons of Epsom. Full electrical installation package is being undertaken on new showrooms for the following:

    • This is a very prestigious project for Prolec – one we are very proud to be associated with. A full week by week timeline of the project is to follow from strip out of the existing showrooms to completion of the new.

    Nissan main dealership showroom for Wilsons of Epsom

    Prolec Electrical Services have been Wilsons electrical contractors for installation and maintenance works for the past 12 years.

    We were asked to submit a full design package and cost for the complete new electrical installation and to work alongside their appointed fit out contractors.

    The lighting design was undertaken on our behalf by Aurora lighting and the small power and distribution circuits were designed by us in house.

    The project consisted of the following elements.
    1. New lighting to main showroom, office areas and warehouse
    2. New small power to main showroom, office areas and warehouse
    3. New LED external lighting to external lamp posts
    4. Supplies to new LED signs
    5. Supplies to electric car charging points
    6. Supplies for air conditioning units
    7. Upgrade to BMS controls
    The project was undertaken over a 3 month period and was completed by us on time and within budget. We are very proud to have been associated with this project for one of our long established clients.

    Beachworks fitting in Kingston

    Shop fitting for Beachworks in Kingston Upon Thames

    Transformation of the old Litten Tree Pub into one of the Beachworks/Billabong chains largest and most spacious stores. Project was completed from strip out to completion over an 8 week period.

    Prolec installed all display, office, back of house, emergency and external lighting, all power and data, specialist dimming systems, air conditioning supplies and audio visual system. First fix wiring was carried out by us as part of our works for CCTV and intruder alarm installation completed by others.

    We were also responsible for the electrical installation works at Beachworks store in Bristol during their refit.

    David and Goliath Shop Fitting

    Shop fitting for David and Goliath in several key stores

    Full electrical installation carried out including recessed and high bay metal halide lighting with hand made pendent lighting to the display units to compliment.

    All power, data, audio and CCTV installed together with air condition supplies and water heaters.

    Prolec have also carried out full electrical installations for David & Goliath in Covent Garden, Carnaby Street, Cardiff and the new Westfield Shopping Centre Stratford - opened in time for the Olympic Games!

    Cumberland Business Park

    5 x New Build Industrial Units

    Complete new electrical installations to 5 industrial units in Park Royal completed early 2011. Each unit fitted out with metal clad socket outlets, twin vapour proof fluorescent fittings, emergency lighting and 3 phase distribution boards, all containment in galvinised metal trunking and galvanised conduit system.

    Billabong Shopfitting

    Shop fitting in Plymouth , Manchester, Cambridge, Northern Ireland, Braintree, Cheshire Oaks, Barcelona and Toulouse. 

    Billabongs flagship store where Prolec carried out full electrical design and installation.

    A Hacel network lighting system was used to illuminate the first floor retail area with matching recessed fittings used on the ground floor, hanging pendent lighting was used to highlight the six metre high glass window displays which made the store, which is situated on one of the main corner approaches stand out from those around it, especially during hours of darkness. 9 kilowatt warm air curtains were installed to give the store a welcoming feeling.

    All supplies for air conditioning, data, emergency lighting, CCTV, intruder alarms, audio and visual installed.

    Prolec have also carried out full electrical installations for Billabong in Manchester Arndale Centre, Braintree and Cheshire Oaks Outlet Villages, Cambridge Christs Lane Shopping Centre, Junction One Newry, County Down, Banbridge Outlet Park near Belfast, Barcelona and Toulouse.

    Squirrels - Ashtead

    New Build 5 Bedroom Detached House.

    Complete electrical installation carried out direct for house buyer, installation of low voltage and LED fire rated downlights throughout to comply with Part L / Part P, Lutron dimming system, air condition supplies and all associated power requirements. External lighting with a mixture of dusk to dawn, PIR and timer controls. We also installed in excess of 6 kilometres of CAT 6 / satellite / speaker / telephone cabling.

    Putney Private Housing

    Communal gardens lighting project

    We were approached by the board of directors of a very large private housing estate where we carry out regular maintenance work to help with the design and installation of garden lighting to the central lawns to compliment the existing street lighting. With the help of a designer from Wirefield lighting and further input from the board of directors and a landscape architect a design was approved for a number of floor mounted 70 watt son fittings , concrete bases were installed and cables laid in trenches with control cabinets hidden in discreet locations. An ongoing project of which we are very proud to be associated.

    New Store in Savile Row, London W1

    Work carried out here in 2010 in conjunction with main contractor taylormade fitouts.

    Installation of cold cathode and low voltage lighting to ceiling and LED tape lighting to raised glass floor, all dimmer controlled, all other new lighting, power and communications cabling.
